Born in Greece and educated in a number of Europe’s great cities, Alexis Andrews has a well-developed eye for classic details. He began studying photography at age 14 in Belgium and took additional training in New York and London. He works primarily in 35 mm and 2-1/4 formats. Hallmarks of his work are strong colors, location shots, and exciting low-angle shots of his yacht subjects underway.

With a strong background in advertising photography encompassing studio work on food, fashion, cars, and small products, Alexis left London for the tropical climate of Antigua in 1985. He has been specializing in marine photography in the Caribbean ever since and has developed a loyal following of charter operators.

In addition to yachts, he also has considerable experience in resort and tourism photography, and professes a passion for fine art black and white photography. His work has appeared in Showboats International, Yachting, Yachting World, The Yacht, Boat International, Das Yacht, Yacht Capital, House and Garden, Vogue, Mer & Bateaux, Islands Magazine, and many other fine magazines.
